Did you know that there is actually a science to emotions? What we feel as love, hate, desire, connection, joy, and attachment are actually a mixture of brain chemicals, body responses, and primitive self protective factors.

Love, and feelings like love, can create distress so magnificent in a relationship that people literally act out of their minds. They sometimes hurt themselves, and often hurt the very people they love and care for the most.

Love, emotions, connection, and relationships are not a mystery anymore. They are the most powerful survival code of our species.

A felt sense of closeness and emotional connection are *coded* as safety cues in our brains.

Isolation and emotional separation from attachment figures are *coded* as danger cues.

Our brains actually code the responses and interactions we have with and from others. From those codes we do the very best we can and respond accordingly. These codes often follow a pattern:

"The more you blame or criticize me...the more I fight back to prove my point."

"The more dismissed I feel...the more I withdraw and isolate from you."

"The more distant you become...the more I lash out at you or go away."

These are examples of the dance...or cycle...or patterns...or coding that your relationships encounter. What would it be like to better understand these patterns in your primary attachment relationship?

Our hope in presenting this workshop is that you will no longer be taken away by the tornado of fight, flight or freeze in your relationship. That you will no longer be at the whim of reactive hurt and hostility.

Our hope is that you and your partner(s) can join together to see the harmful dance causing havoc in your relationship. That you both will begin to establish a safe and secure connection to let that negative and harmful dance go or disappear.

As humans we all have the need for a secure bond with another. It appears to be even more primary than aggression or sex.

You deserve a secure bond with your chosen person/people. A bond in which security and trust are paramount and for which you both challenge yourselves in truer authenticity with the other.

This two-day intensive educational workshop will put you on the fast track to understanding your negative dance. It will lay the foundation for further relationship growth and you learn more about yourselves and each other.
